WordPress has evolved to be a full content management system with widgets, plugins and customizable themes.

Meteor JS is part of a new wave of frameworks and technologies that are looking to challenge the status quo by making the web real-time and reactive.

Meteore is an open-source JavaScript web application framework.
It was first introduced in December 2011 under the name Skybreak. At its core is the Distributed Data Protocol. Its release was the largest in Hacker News history.
Among open source projects, it is also the third most starred GitHub repository in 2012.
